Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how The Pink Dietitian, Georgina Hinton (HCPC registration number DT036208), ("I", "me") collects, uses and protects the personal information you provide when you use this website and my services. I am committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What information I collect
- Any contact details you provide such as name, email address, and phone number.
- When you book a consultation through this website, the booking calendar (provided by Cal.com) collects your name, email address and your chosen appointment time.
- Any information you share about your goals, health and medical history when enquiring and throughout your time working with me.
- Basic, aggregated technical information to monitor website traffic via Cloudflare — no cookies, no profiles, and not used to identify you personally.
This website itself sets no cookies and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking.
Third-party services
I use a small number of carefully chosen services to run this website, and they only receive the data needed to do their job:
- Cal.com — powers the booking calendar. When you book, your details are processed by Cal.com under their privacy policy.
- Stripe — handles card payments for paid services, taken securely within the booking flow. Your card details never reach this website. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and provides aggregate, privacy-first visitor statistics. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
How I use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange your consultation.
- To provide the services you request.
- To send you newsletters, only where you have opted in.
Keeping your data safe
I store your information securely and only keep it for as long as necessary to provide my services or as required by law. I never sell your data, and I only share it with third parties where essential to deliver a service (for example, a booking or email provider).
Why I keep your information
I only retain your personal data where there is a clear reason to do so. The reasons I keep your information are:
- To deliver your consultation and services — I keep the records needed to provide and manage the service you have requested.
- To keep accurate clinical and health records — as a Registered Dietitian I am required to retain client records for a set period in line with professional and HCPC standards.
- To send newsletters and marketing — only where you have given consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties — certain financial records must be kept for the periods required by law.
When your information is no longer needed for these purposes, it is securely deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, and to withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To make a request, please contact me at thepinkdietitian@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If I make any material changes, I will notify you by email so you are always aware of how your information is handled.
